Kre8tive Keepsakes

About Me

Hello and Welcome to Kre8tive Keepsakes,

I was first introduced to scrapbooking in 2008 by my former manager who shared the hobby.  She showed me a few pages her Franklin Covey planner that was beautifully embellished and I was in total awe… shortly after I bought my first kit from Michaels.

In 2009 I was laid off and out of work for almost a year.  I had a lot of time on my hands and began dibbling and dabbling with a few scraps here and there.  That year I also decided to make my Christmas cards and to my surprise I received a lot of good feedback.

I took just about every opportunity there was to make a card or album to give as gifts and found myself always saying that “it’s a keepsake” as I gave it away, which is how I came up with the name Kre8tive Keepsakes.

Since I started I have made very few things for myself and now have decided to be just a little selfish to make a few things for me to enjoy.  With that being said I plan to use this platform to develop more of my personal kre8tive style as well as share tips, tricks, tutorials, challenges, kre8tive thoughts….and the list goes on.

Who would have known the little girl within would unleash in such a kre8tive way to inspire, awaken  and connect with your inner child as well.
